Parkinson’s disease affects the nerve cells in the brain that produces dopamine. Parkinson's disease is a progressive disorder of the nervous system that affects movement. It develops gradually, sometimes starting with a barely noticeable tremor in just one hand. But while tremor may be the most well-known sign of Parkinson's disease, the disorder also commonly causes stiffness or slowdown of movements.
Parkinson's disease often begins on one side of the body and usually remains worse on that side, even after symptoms begin to affect both sides. Parkinson's disease ordinarily begins in middle or late life and the risk increases with age. People usually develop the disease around the age of 60 or later. Men are more likely to develop Parkinson's disease than women.
Parkinson's disease is often accompanied by these additional problems such as – thinking difficulties, depression / emotional changes, swallowing problems, sleep disorder, bladder problem, constipation, blood pressure, smell dysfunction, fatigue, pain and sexual dysfunction. Although Parkinson's disease is incurable, medications may markedly improve its symptoms.
Chakra therapy is based on the belief that your brain is the main operating system in the human body, which processes sensory information, regulates blood pressure, breathing and releases hormones. The spinal cord connects a huge part of the peripheral nervous system to the brain while the optic nerve transfers the visual information from the retina to the vision centers of the brain via electrical impulses. However due to our over analytical, non-liberal, rigid mind sets and definitions we refuse to accept and value the reality, for what it actually is. We constantly live in a state of delusion, completely alienated from people, society and the world. Such a condition manifests into this physical ailment.
Imbalanced Chakra related to Parkinson
The Chakra associated with Parkinson is the Sahasrara or the Crown chakra. This Chakra is located where the pineal endocrine gland is positioned i.e. at the top of the head. The primary function of pineal gland is to produce melatonin. Melatonin controls central nervous system, including sleepiness and wakefulness. When the Sahasrara Chakra is optimally active or energized, you feel connected to a higher power and sense that you are being watched over and cared for. You begin to know you deserve immense blessings and also feel immense gratitude for the universal love and appreciate yourself and others. This Chakra contains the power of being content and full of gratitude.
